There are many other padlock manufacturers but most cannot withstand the beating that a Master brand padlock can.

Some Master brand padlocks can accept high security lock cylinders like Scorpion,  Multi-Lock or Medeco to name a few. These high security lock cylinders feature unique and innovative designs that are impossible to pick or drill. Most bypass methods will fail. These high security lock cylinders offer the owner complete key control. That is, you cannot copy the keys at a local hardware or big box store.

Even the padlocks that have removeable and rekeyable cylinders are affordable and usually the high security lock cylinder will cost the same or in excess of the master brand padlock.

You can also buy them on line as well which will allow you to compare what each padlock manufacturer offers.
